Lives and works in Melbourne, Australia

Jacqueline Claire Smith's work with painting, installation and video features transient moments in natural phenomena. Her practice is inspired by opaque notions of time and space, and the difficulty inherent in articulating the ineffable. Jacqueline is inspired by literature, physics and process philosophy. She investigates change as the cornerstone of metaphysical reality. Her practice contains a delicate touch through a nuanced focus on small, yet transcendental moments.
